On January 13th, 2025, YCM had the honor of welcoming students and lecturers from the University of Tasmania, along with participants from the UniGo program of Australian Volunteers International. We deeply appreciate their decision to collaborate with YCM for the second time, strengthening our partnership and fostering meaningful connections.
During their visit, 36 participants from UTas and AVI engaged in various activities with YCM members, creating an enriching and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. The day was filled with interactive sessions, lunch, and cultural performances, allowing both guests and hosts to share their talents and learn from one another in a warm and dynamic environment.
Following their time at YCM, on January 16th, 2025, the group embarked on an exciting tour with Bogor Tours, a tour guide service by Sola Rumah Karya. They visited Saung Eling, where they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Sundanese culture. During the tour, they learned about local history, traditional foods, significant historical places, and even experienced playing the Angklung, a traditional Sundanese musical instrument.
The visit and cultural tour were truly memorable for all participants. The shared experiences, engaging activities, and cultural exchanges created lasting connections and cherished moments. We are grateful for their visit and look forward to more opportunities to collaborate in the future!
